What is the difference between a curtain Roman pole and a guide rail? S hook or four claw hook is better

Generally, I suggest that if you plan to hang the ceiling, it's best to choose a curtain box, and then use guide rails inside. In general, high-end decoration, almost every room needs to have a suspended ceiling, and curtain boxes and guide curtains are mostly used, which have a great effect

Many friends say that my living room has a suspended ceiling, but my bedroom doesn't have a suspended ceiling, so I can only use Roman poles. In fact, it's not the case. We can also make a curtain box, which is not difficult to make. Additionally, adding flat gypsum line can also achieve good results.
Basically, the difference between suspended ceilings is: once a suspended ceiling is made, guide rails are used; Without a suspended ceiling, we can only use Roman poles; If the living room has a suspended ceiling and the bedroom does not have a suspended ceiling, then the bedroom will use Ming style curtain boxes, which are still guide rails.
Then let's talk about the fixing methods of curtains. There are currently two popular fixing methods for curtains.

The first method is the Roman ring fixing method used for the Roman pole, which is to open several large holes at the top of the curtain, and then buckle the Roman ring shown in the picture onto the holes. The two ends of the Roman ring have threads or self-locking, so it will not fall off. When washing, simply remove the two ends and you can wash it.
The advantage of the Roman circle is that the verticality of the curtain suspension is relatively good, which looks sharp. The disadvantage is that when washing, the Roman pole needs to be removed, and then the large ring needs to be fastened, which wastes energy. (PS: Actually, I can't wash it once in two or three years.)

The second method is hook fixation, which can be divided into S-hook (including ordinary S-hook and telescopic S-hook) and four-claw hook. S-hook and four-claw hook are not only suitable for Roman poles, but also for guide rails. The S hook, also known as the Korean hook, is a popular fixing method, mainly for easy threading and maintenance. As long as the merchant has finished folding, we can remove the hook and wash it in the future.
